With every budding interaction
I feel a flourish gaining traction
But when the sunlight up and goes
I won't mind as I will I find the time to tap the dark and grow

I’ll waste up your day
And you in return can take my patience
I know what’s at stake
If it falls it will fall on my face
With every inopportune display of your misfortune
I’ve learned love shows to those who wait

At times the progression of life is like magic
Yet it’s all predestined by my own growth habits
But when I let in the lack of colors around me
That’s when you will see me growing in the dark

You’ll have to swim in the deep sea to fly in the skies
What may seem dark to me is flying colors in shrimp’s eyes
You have to fall for a long time for your true colors to fly

It’s so boring to see the same blue skies and white clouds around me
And it’s not always easy, but we make the change and grow by doing so
I know you don't want to go, well enjoy what you are able to, but it wont forever glow
It’s so foreign to me and unappetizing
When one feeds off the sun ‘cause
There the regression of light seems so tragic
